“When you wish upon a star”

Okay if you know me you know, I am OBSESSED with Disney. I have been fortunate enough to have parents equally obsessed. As a kid, we got to go ALOT, and we would be there for like five days, looking back it’s a little obsessive, but honestly, I don’t even care. As an adult, money isn’t an object, and Disney can get expensive so Nick and I don’t go every year, but try to go as much as we can! We recently got to go and take my younger siblings! It was so fun!

When Nick and I first went to Disney, he was NOT ready for how we do Disney. We are typically there open to close and doing as much as possible. I think 4 hours in he was like WTF I need a nap! HAHAHA (p.s he didn’t get to take that nap). I soon as you walk in and start hearing those Disney songs all of the worries go away and it’s like your a little kid again. When we walked in this last weekend my smile was legit ear to ear!

If you are lucky enough to get to go, you know the feeling. If you haven’t, you need to! I was telling Nick that I am so excited to have kids one day so they can become obsessed with Disney. Although, really what it will be is an excuse for me to go and relive my childhood. There were so many cute kids there dressed up and so excited to see the characters and ride the rides. I think the best thing I witnessed was on Big Thunder (roller coaster in Disney) was at the end of the night when the line was literally empty a kid at the end was like “LET’S DO IT AGAIN, LET’S DO IT AGAIN” hahaha it was great, and yes we rode it again, three times to be exact!

Okay, so couple tips from a Disney semi-pro! Make sure to get a max pass, that way you can link the photos the photographers there take! I mean look how cute these are!

Also, go for multiple days with a park hopper that way you can go to both California Adventure and Disneyland Park! With a three day or more pass, you get early admission to the park! The three-plus day pass, allows you to go in an hour early than open and the lines are so much shorter! With the new Star Wars land free and the new rides, the typical wait time is over 70 minutes, with the early admission we waited 15 minutes. With the early entry, comes fewer people! Which makes it easier to snap the pics you want without a million people in the background!

While we were there, I thought it would be so much fun to find some gems of backgrounds for the gram. My poor sister, sorry Paige, was my little photographer! Don’t worry; I made sure to get pics of her and her friend too, those turned out soooo cute!

Now on to the Instagramable spots!

I’ll start with Disneyland! Now before we go through these, it is essential to note that some of the painted murals will change typically every nine months! So if you go and they are not there it is most likely they have changed it! Don’t forget to buy some merch and strike a pose, like ears, lollipops, Dole Whip, Cherro or even the infamous Mickey pretzel!

  1. Minnie and Mickey Wall

These doors are located in Toon Town right next to Minnie’s House!
  2. Brown Doors

The doors are located in Toon Town right after the entrance to the right!
  3. Penny Arcade

Penny Arcade is on Main Street! It is fun to take one at night because duh the lights!
  4. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle

I like to take this off to the right side! That way, you get fewer people in the background!
  5. Cheshire Cat

Right next to the Alice & Wonderland Ride! He is just hanging out there!
  6. Tee Cups

Obviously on the ride! There is also a tee cup that isn’t part of the ride you can snap right in front of the Tee Cup Ride!
  7. Star Wars Sky

This is a fun wall in the Star Wars Launch Bay right by Space Moutain! I took this in the exit! Such a fun background!
  8. Pooh

This is Pooh’s Adventure ride! The cars are beehives with honey because duh he loves honey!
  9. Mickey’s Car

This car is in Toon Town in front of Mickey’s house! There are a bunch of cars there you can snap a cute picture in!

Now on to California Adventure!! There are some cute places to snap an Instagramable picture! I tried to find the Up and Buzz wall, and FYI they painted over them 😩

  1. Pixar Pier
The doors are on Paradise Pier near the Symphony Swings!

  2. Ferris Wheel

There are two places that you can snap a cute pic with the Ferris wheel in the back! This one is next to the bridge, and you can get one in the bridge as well!
  3. Cozy Cone Motel

This is in Radiator Springs! If you go into the cone’s area, you can get a picture with fewer people walking behind you! Win, and you can do a cure pose!
  4. Flo’s V8 Cafe

Obviously in Radiator Springs! This is such a fun place! It is 1950’s feel, and at night the neon lights are EVERYTHING!
  5. Radiator Springs

If you walk into Cars Land and get to Flo’s V8 Cafe and turn right, you’ll walk down a “road” and see the sign looked like and stop during golden hour and get a cute pic that makes you feel like your actually in Radiator Springs!
  6. Radiator Spring Wall

This cute mural is right in the Cozy Cone Motel! Golden Hour is the best time, I mean this lighting is EVERYTHING!
  7. Beasts Library

If you love Disney, you grew up dreaming of Beasts Library! It is hidden in the Animation Academy! Walk inside and head to the Sorcerers Place and keep walking to the back and you’ll be transformed into the library!
  8. Flo’s Gas Station

My personal favorite! Right in front of Flo’s V8 Cafe! The first set of pumps stop and strike a pose! I like sitting because you can crop out all the people! hehe
  9. Cars Land

As you walk in California Adventure, you’ll walk past the Cars Land welcome sign! There is typically a photographer there so they can snap a picture for you!

There are many places to snap a cute picture at Disney! Do you have any places you like that I might have missed? Let me know!

Don’t forget to “Wish Upon A Star.”
